About Dr. Kenya Lee
Kenya Lee, MD, is the co-founder and lead doctor at PureLee Redefined in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is a board-certified aesthetic practitioner and provides expert skin care to all her patients.
Dr. Lee earned a dual degree in biology and chemistry at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She completed her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, and did her medical residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
After her residency, Dr. Lee served as an active duty physician at the United States Air Force Academy. She then worked as a primary care physician in Georgia followed by Mountain View Medical Group in Colorado Springs, Colorado. An experienced provider, Dr. Kenya has also worked as an independent contract physician in the urgent care setting while becoming certified in medical aesthetics by the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Lee believes in the importance of service and leadership. She is graduate of the 2020 class of the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute as well as the Black Advisory Council. She is a board member of the Colorado Springs Black Business Network and previously served on the board of of Pikes Peak United Way. Drs. Lee and PureLee Redefined donate to the Colorado Springs Conservatory, Pikes Peak United Way, Angels of America’s Fallen, Brown University’s Ruth J. Simmons Center for the Study of Slavery and Justice, and the Fountain Valley School.
In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling, eating good food, and reading. She provides warmth and compassion to all her patients and is always appreciative of good company, enjoying nothing more than chatting with close friends and her husband of more than 20 years.
